Unmarked route but path easily followed. |
Leave Avdalen Farm and ascend steeply up for 1km to Vårstølen seter. Here to the south of the buildings the path divides to Stølsmaradalen cabin (Hu.13) on the north and Gravdalen cabin to the west.
Take the west fork and after 1½km of easier ascent through forest Gravdalen cabin appears on the upper edge of the forest.
From this cabin follow the path on the east side of the river Gravdøla for 2½km when the old drove road from Fardalen to Stølsmaradalen (Hu.10) is met.
At this junction wade the river. From here it is 5 km over a pass to the west and down to Fardalen ski centre.
