Bluethroat
A fairly common summer visitor. They are shy birds, but usually seen in the mountain birch and willow scrub zones, especially marshy areas.

Their nests are concealed and close to the ground. Their food is insects and sometimes worms and berries.

The female lacks the blue markings on the throat, which is pale instead and without the red spot.
