Bullfinch
An uncommon resident of the valleys where it is found in mixed woods and scrub, usually near cultivation. It is absent from the willow scrub zone upwards and rare in the mountain birch zone.

They feed on seeds, buds and fruits and sometimes moths and other insects.

They are shy, seldom leave cover or form flocks, but are often seen in pairs.
