Parus montanus, Willow Tit, Granmeis. 11cm.
A common resident in the woods of the surrounding valleys but rare in the higher scrub and absent from the high mountains.
Prefers damper locations in any woodland where there are rotten trees in which the female can excavate a nesting hole.
It subsists on insects, spiders and some berries.
