This is a campsite just south of Hjelle by Øvre Årdal. It also has a selection of huts for hire on a nightly basis, with four beds and cooking facilities in each, at very reasonable prices.
It is a great place to prepare for a trip into southern Hurrungane as there is a nearby supermarket in Øvre Årdal, but is not the sort of place to linger as there are the wonderful alternatives further up the valley.
